Technical Analyst

About the Role:

We're seeking an experienced Technical Analyst / Business Analyst to support a major technology and security transformation program.

This role combines business analysis, technical documentation, operational readiness, and stakeholder engagement, making it ideal for someone who enjoys bridging technical and business teams while delivering high-quality documentation and governance outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop technology transition plans and roadmaps
• Analyse legacy systems, dependencies, risks, and support requirements
• Facilitate workshops with technical and business stakeholders
• Produce technical, operational, and governance documentation
• Support operational readiness and service transition activities
• Create risk assessments, process maps, and impact assessments
• Prepare executive briefings, governance papers, and decision documents
• Coordinate documentation required for successful transition into BAU operations

About You

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst, Technical Analyst, Technical Writer, or similar role
• Strong experience producing complex technical and operational documentation
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation skills
• Background working with infrastructure, networks, cloud, cyber security, or technology programs
• Experience supporting technology migrations, upgrades, service introductions, or transition initiatives
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

• Cyber Security programs
• Governance and risk management
• Government, transport, utilities, or other regulated environments
• ServiceNow, Visio, SharePoint, and Microsoft 365
