Technical Avaloq Analyst / Developer

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Technical Analyst / Developer with strong experience in the Avaloq banking platform. The role involves analyzing business requirements, designing technical solutions, and implementing high-quality developments within the Avaloq ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business and functional requirements and translate them into technical specifications

• Design, develop, and maintain solutions within the Avaloq Core Banking System

• Customize Avaloq modules using Avaloq Script and related technologies

• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and stakeholders to ensure optimal solution delivery

• Perform impact analysis and contribute to system enhancements and upgrades

• Support testing activities (unit, integration, UAT) and resolve defects

• Provide 2nd/3rd level support for production issues and incidents

• Ensure compliance with development standards, security policies, and best practices

• Contribute to documentation (technical design, release notes, etc.)

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with the Avaloq Banking System

• Proficiency in Avaloq Script (PL/SQL-based)

• Solid understanding of core banking processes (e.g., payments, securities, accounting, client lifecycle)

• Experience with Oracle databases and SQL

• Familiarity with Avaloq modules such as Front Platform, Back Office, or Interfaces

• Experience in system integration and APIs is a plus

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Nice to Have

• Avaloq certification(s)

• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies

• Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance frameworks

• Experience with DevOps tools or CI/CD pipelines

Education

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
