Technical Application Support

***Technical Application Support –Paris Area, France ***

For our international client based in the France RED is looking for a Technical Application Support consultant for a new role in France.

This is 6-12 month initial contract, starting ASAP. It will be hybrid working just outside of Paris (Max 2 days onsite) with the rest remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide application and technical support for industrial solutions.
• Handle incidents and service requests within the assigned scope.
• Analyze recurring issues and propose corrective actions.
• Contribute to project scoping, specifications, testing, deployment, and end-user support activities.
• Maintain and enhance technical and functional documentation.
• Share knowledge with IT teams and site representatives.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of industrial information systems and environments, such as Historian, MES, LIMS, Quality Management, Industrial Weighing, Labeling, Traceability, WMS, or equivalent solutions.
• Understanding of industrial, logistics, and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with relational databases.
• Ability to write functional and technical specifications, test scenarios, and user documentation.
• Knowledge of ITIL practices and Agile or Waterfall (V-Model) project methodologies.
