Technical Architect – AI (Copilot)

Job Title- Technical Architect – AI (Copilot) Location- Walnut Creek, CA Roles And Responsibilities-

• Own the solution architecture for Copilot agents built on Microsoft Copilot Studio, including patterns for hardening, governance, and platform standards.
• Guide and review the offshore engineers' agent build; set technical direction and the quality bar.
• Front-end technical discussions with Matson leadership and technical teams; act as the trusted onsite point of continuity.
• Ensure the platform architecture is cloud-sound and integrates cleanly with the customer's environment.

Qualifications & Required Skills-

• Proven Copilot agent development on Copilot Studio, including topics, actions, connectors, and governance.
• Cloud architect background with, at minimum, Azure application architecture experience (AWS experience a strong plus).
• Strong customer-facing communication and the ability to work independently onsite.

Mandatory Skills-

• Power Platform governance — environment strategy, DLP policies, RBAC, and Copilot Credits / consumption management.
• Integration and identity patterns: REST APIs, Azure AD / Entra ID, secure secrets handling (Key Vault).
• Responsible AI, security hardening, and solution-design documentation for executive and technical audiences.
