Technical Architect

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced Technical Architect to lead the design and implementation of enterprise-grade solutions in the UAE. The ideal candidate will leverage blockchain and AWS technologies to build scalable, secure, and high-performance systems, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive technical strategy and innovation.

Responsibilities:

• Define and lead the technical architecture for blockchain and AWS-based solutions.
• Translate business requirements into detailed architectural designs, diagrams, and specifications.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure proper implementation of architectural standards.
• Conduct architecture reviews and enforce governance, security, and compliance policies.
• Develop proof-of-concepts and pilot projects to evaluate new technologies and approaches.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams, fostering best practices.
• Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies to enhance platform performance and scalability.
• Liaise with stakeholders to present architectural roadmaps, trade-offs, and implementation plans.
• Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery for mission-critical systems.
• Drive continuous improvement by defining reusable frameworks, components, and patterns.

Preferred Qualifications:

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional.
• Certified Blockchain Architect or equivalent blockchain certifications.
• Hands-on experience with DevOps tools and practices (CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code).
• Knowledge of UAE security and compliance frameworks (e.g., UAE Cloud First policy).
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools.
• Master s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

Desired Candidate Profile

• 8 10 years of experience in technical architecture or senior engineering roles.
• Proven experience designing and implementing blockchain solutions in enterprise environments.
• Expertise in AWS services including EC2, Lambda, VPC, IAM, RDS, and DynamoDB.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices, and RESTful API design.
• Experience with architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or equivalent.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience working in the UAE or GCC region and familiarity with local regulations and standards.
