What they need
Key responsibilities
- Provide technical support to professional staff to prepare Building Information Modeling (BIM) for cavern projects with the aid of computer software such as Revit, Civil 3D, Navisworks, Fuzor, etc.
- Maintain and update divisional records, including indexing, charting, updating databases, preparing plans and maps
- Carry out geotechnical information search from other divisions, the department's library, other Government Departments
- Carry out analysis and calculations using relevant software where appropriate in connection with the checking of geotechnical designs
- Carry out checking and compilation of various reports and statistical returns
- Carry out site safety checking and inspection including cavern projects; and collect site information, including taking site record photos, site measurements
- Carry out any other technical related duties
