TECHNICAL ASSISTANT

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Technical/R&D team in product development, product matching, trials, and other technical activities.
• Prepare, label, organize, and maintain product samples for customer evaluation, internal testing, and marketing purposes.
• Assist in preparing materials, ingredients, equipment, and samples required for laboratory and production trials.
• Support trial activities and monitor production runs according to instructions provided by the Technical/R&D team.
• Conduct basic sensory evaluation and product checking, such as appearance, colour, aroma, and taste, as instructed.
• Record trial results, sample information, and other relevant technical data accurately.
• Ensure laboratory equipment, tools, samples, and working areas are properly maintained and kept clean and organized.
• Assist in maintaining proper documentation and filing of product samples, trial records, and technical information.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, Marketing, and other departments when required for sampling and trial activities.
• Perform any other technical or administrative duties assigned by the superior.

Job Requirements

• Minimum SPM or equivalent qualification.
• Fresh school leavers are encouraged to apply; relevant working experience in manufacturing, food production, laboratory, quality, or technical support will be an added advantage.
• Basic computer knowledge, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Able to understand and follow work instructions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Willing to learn and able to perform basic technical and hands-on tasks.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Responsible, disciplined, and attentive to detail.
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision after proper training.
• Candidates with experience in the food manufacturing industry will be an added advantage.

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,000.00 per month
