Position: Technical Assistant / Development & IT Coordinator
Employment Type: Full-Time
Location: Remote – India
Compensation: ₹1,35,000–₹1,50,000($1399-1554) per month, depending on experience and technical ability
Work Schedule: Morning shift aligned with San Dimas, California, through at least 12:30 PM San Dimas time, plus approximately 2 hours in the evening to overlap with the development team.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly capable and technically advanced Technical Assistant / Development & IT Coordinator to work closely with our IT leadership and development team.

This is not a traditional administrative assistant position.

The ideal candidate must be capable of writing code, understanding software architecture and databases, designing and evaluating web interfaces, coordinating developers, and using modern AI tools to accelerate software development.

The individual will work directly with Edward to assist with technical and operational tasks while also serving as an important communication bridge between Edward and the development team.

The ideal candidate is someone who can both think strategically and execute technically.

Key Responsibilities

Software Development
-Write, review, debug, and improve production code.

• Assist with web application and software development.
• Work directly with the development team on assigned projects.
• Understand existing codebases and systems.
• Identify bugs, technical problems, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
• Assist with testing and quality assurance.
• Help implement new features and system improvements.

AI-Assisted Development

• Use modern AI coding tools to improve development speed and efficiency.
• Utilize AI for code generation, debugging, documentation, research, testing, and optimization.
• Understand how to effectively prompt and direct AI coding systems.
• Review AI-generated code critically rather than blindly implementing it.
• Identify opportunities where AI can automate repetitive technical tasks.

UI / UX

• Have a strong creative eye for web design and user interfaces.
• Assist in designing and improving website pages and application interfaces.
• Evaluate layouts, navigation, usability, typography, visual hierarchy, and overall user experience.
• Work with developers to translate design concepts into functional interfaces.
• Provide creative recommendations for improving the appearance and usability of digital products.

Systems & Databases

• Understand databases, data structures, APIs, integrations, and system architecture.
• Assist with database-related tasks and troubleshooting.
• Understand how different systems and applications communicate with one another.
• Help document system architecture and technical processes.
• Assist with troubleshooting technical issues across the company's systems.

Development Team Coordination

• Coordinate between Edward and the development team.
• Track development tasks, deadlines, priorities, and outstanding issues.
• Follow up with developers regarding assigned work.
• Communicate requirements clearly to technical team members.
• Identify blockers and escalate important issues.
• Help ensure development projects stay on schedule.
• Participate in meetings and provide technical updates when necessary.

Executive / IT Assistance

• Work directly with Edward on technical and operational tasks.
• Research technology, software, systems, and tools as requested.
• Assist with implementing new technologies and processes.
• Help automate internal workflows.
• Take ownership of technical tasks that require research, problem-solving, or execution.
• Assist with other IT-related responsibilities as needed.

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional experience in software development, programming, or a closely related technical field.
• Strong hands-on programming experience.
• Experience working with web development.
• Strong understanding of databases and system architecture.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to write and understand production-quality code.
• Strong understanding of APIs and software integrations.
• Strong UI/UX and visual design awareness.
• Experience coordinating or leading developers/projects.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

AI & Modern Development Requirements

The candidate should be comfortable working with modern AI-assisted development tools and understand how to use AI effectively for:

• Coding
• Debugging
• Refactoring
• Research
• Documentation
• Testing
• Automation
• Rapid prototyping
• System development

The candidate should be an early adopter of technology and actively interested in finding more efficient ways to accomplish technical work.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous team-lead or management experience.
• Experience managing or coordinating developers.
• Full-stack development experience.
• Strong experience with modern JavaScript frameworks.
  -Experience with Python, PHP, Node.js, React, or similar technologies.
• Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
• Experience with cloud platforms.
• Experience with Git/GitHub.
• Experience with UI/UX tools such as Figma.
• Experience building e-commerce systems or integrations.
• Experience with automation and AI development tools.
• Experience working with U.S.-based companies or remote international teams.

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who is technically strong, creative, proactive, highly organized, and comfortable taking ownership.

This person should not need to be told what to do at every step. They should be able to look at a technical problem, understand it, research possible solutions, use AI and other tools where appropriate, implement or coordinate the solution, and communicate the result clearly.

The successful candidate will become an important member of the company's technology and operations team.

Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
