Technical Assistant Manager

Position Overview

We are seeking a versatile and tech-savvy Technical Assistant Manager to join our team. Working directly alongside the General Manager, you will play a key role in driving sales performance, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

This is a dynamic, hands-on role perfect for an adaptable leader who can bridge the gap between day-to-day restaurant operations, digital marketing, systems management, and vendor relations.

Key Responsibilities

• Marketing & Brand Management: Plan and execute promotional campaigns. Design and implement digital and print assets, manage social media platforms, and maintain online reputation profiles (e.g., Google Business Profile).
• Menu & Sales Channel Control: Maintain accurate menu offerings, pricing, and updates across all sales platforms (in-store POS, online ordering, DoorDash, etc.) to ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Systems, Software & Facilities: Oversee facility maintenance and equipment performance. Research, procure, and implement new technology, software, and outside vendor services.
• Operations & Inventory Support: Assist management with inventory tracking, supply ordering, and administrative tasks. Identify operational bottlenecks, track issues, and implement reliable solutions.
• Team & Recruitment Coordination: Support hiring initiatives by creating job postings, scheduling interviews, assisting with recruitment, and leading new-hire orientations.
• Testing & Quality Assurance: Oversee the review, testing, and rollout approval process for any operational, technological, or menu changes.

Key Qualifications & Skills (Must haves)

• Technical Proficiencies:
• Design & Content Creation: Image & Video editing software (e.g. Photoshop, Premiere Pro, or similar tools).
• Web & Analytics: Web design platforms (Squarespace), Google Analytics, and digital marketing tools.
• Sales & POS Systems: Point of Sale (POS) management and third-party delivery platforms (e.g., DoorDash).
• Office & Administration: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google Workspace (Excel, PowerPoint, Docs).

Other Qualifications (Nice to have)

• Restaurant & Food Safety: Proven experience with food safety standards, restaurant operations, and sales flow.
• Vendor & Project Management: Strong research and negotiation skills to evaluate software, equipment, and vendor contracts.
• Business Numeracy: Solid math and analytical skills for accurate pricing strategy, inventory control, and cost tracking.
• Core Competencies: Exceptional organizational, multi-tasking, and communication skills with a customer-first mindset.
