Technical Assistant (Steel Industry)

Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed technical schedules and production drawings in accordance with project requirements.
• Calculate and design cut-to-size reinforcement mesh, particularly for precast mesh applications.
• Prepare, review, and verify technical calculations and related documentation.
• Liaise with production and project teams to ensure all technical requirements are properly implemented.
• Provide additional technical support and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirement:

• Minimum SPM qualification with strong Mathematics skills; or a Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• Prior experience in the precast concrete industry will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of reinforcement mesh detailing and cut-to-size mesh design is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel with strong numerical and calculation skills.
• Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to work accurately with minimal supervision.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills with a willingness to learn and develop technical knowledge.
• Able to work effectively with production, project, and technical teams.
