Technical Auditor

We are looking for an experienced and technically strong Technical Auditor – Food Division to join our organization on an on-roll basis. The ideal candidate should have sound knowledge of food safety standards, certification processes, auditing requirements, and accreditation procedures.

The candidate must have hands-on exposure to NABCB accreditation audits/assessments or must have been involved in audits related to certification bodies/accreditation requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct and support technical audits and assessments related to Food Safety Management Systems.

Review audit reports, technical documents, procedures, records, and compliance requirements.

Ensure technical activities are aligned with applicable ISO, food safety, certification, and accreditation requirements.

Support the organization during NABCB accreditation audits/assessments and address technical observations/non-conformities.

Participate in internal technical reviews and evaluation of audit processes.

Identify gaps and recommend corrective and preventive actions.

Keep updated with changes in food safety standards, certification requirements, and accreditation criteria.

Conduct or support technical training and competency development for auditors and food-sector professionals.

Coordinate with clients, auditors, technical teams, and management on technical matters.

Mandatory Skills & Requirements

1. NABCB Audit/Accreditation Exposure – Mandatory

Candidate must have faced or participated in NABCB accreditation audits/assessments.

Practical understanding of NABCB requirements, assessment process, observations, non-conformities, and corrective actions is highly preferred.

2. Food Safety Technical Knowledge

Strong knowledge of relevant food safety standards and certification requirements, such as:

ISO 22000

HACCP

Food Safety Management Systems (FSMS)

PRPs

FSSC 22000

3. Certification / Training Experience – Mandatory

Experience working as a Food Safety / FSMS Trainer, OR

Completed relevant food safety, auditing, or technical training programs, OR

Experience delivering training to auditors, food industry professionals, consultants, or organizations.

4. Audit Experience

Experience in food safety audits, certification audits, technical audits, internal audits, or third-party audits.

Qualification

Graduation/Post-Graduation in Food Technology, Food Science related field.

Relevant professional certifications/training in Food Safety, HACCP, ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, Lead Auditor

Candidates who have directly faced NABCB assessments/audits or candidate should have experience of certified body approved by NABCB

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
