Technical BP

Key Responsibilities

• Lead technical due diligence (site inspections, VDR review, condition/performance assessment) across solar PV, wind, BESS, gas-to-power, etc.
• Act as internal technical advisor: assess bankability, review energy yield (P50/P90), availability/degradation, and support lender/DFI technical due diligence
• Own technical inputs to valuation and financial models: CAPEX/OPEX benchmarks, energy yield, replacement/repowering costs; rebuild and challenge sell-side technical models
• Support origination and development: site screening, technology selection, EPC/O&M review, grid connection technical workstreams

Requirements

• Master's degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred
• 6+ years in renewable energy / power infrastructure technical roles (solar, wind, hydro, BESS, storage)
• Hands-on engineering / technical development background — design, modelling or technical development work; not purely a reviewer or manager
• Proven technical due diligence and/or Technical Advisor experience for M&A or project financing
• Strong command of energy yield assessment, technical CAPEX/OPEX benchmarking and technical model assumptions
• English as a working language, willing and able to travel
