We're looking for an experienced and highly skilled Technical Business Analyst to join our Integrations, Data & Insight team on a 12-month fixed-term contract based in our head office in Bristol. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in some of the high-profile technology transformation projects taking place across Unite Group.
You'll work closely with teams across Technology and the wider business to understand their information and data needs, translating these into clear and detailed technical specifications that help shape and deliver effective solutions.

- Work closely with Engineers, Architects, Business Analysts and stakeholders to ensure solutions meet agreed requirements.
- Support the project team in prioritising and refining sprint work.
- Work with development teams to ensure delivered solutions meet expectations.
- Partner with the Analytics team to ensure the right data is available for reporting and dashboards.

- Maintain key data documentation, including mappings, metadata, ownership and lineage.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, manage risks and maximise the value of data and technology.
- Provide support and guidance to other Technical Business Analysts when required.
What We're Looking for in You
- A confident self-starter and strong communicator, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Good understanding of data processing and how data flows between systems.
- Basic experience querying databases using tools such as SQL or Python, with an understanding of data modelling concepts.
- Ability to understand data dependencies across systems and teams.
- Strong documentation skills, with the ability to clearly capture requirements for both analysts and developers.
- Experience working with cloud-based data platforms such as Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks or Redshift.
What You'll Get in Return
- A discretionary annual bonus so you can share in the company's success
- 25 days' paid holiday and an annual holiday buying scheme, with 5 additional days awarded for long service
- A generous pension scheme - employer contributions between 5% and 11% depending on how much you save
- Various benefits to support your health and wellbeing including a Healthcare Cash Plan, an Employee Assistance Programme, a Wellbeing platform and a Gym benefit that you can share with your family and friends
- Enhanced Family Leave including 18 weeks full pay for birthing parents and 4 weeks for non-birthing parents
- Lots of other great benefits including an annual ShareSave scheme, Employee Life Assurance, a discounts portal and more!
