Job Description

We are looking for a Technical Business Analyst with strong experience in the Banking domain, data modelling, SQL/PL SQL, ETL and data analysis. The candidate should be capable of understanding business requirements and translating them into effective technical data solutions.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in SQL / PL SQL

• 5.5 to 7 years of overall experience

• Experience in the Banking domain

• Strong understanding of Data Modelling

• Experience with ETL

• Knowledge of Conceptual, Logical and Physical Data Models

• Experience in Data Lineage and Source-to-Target Mapping

Good to Have

• Experience working in Unix / Linux environment

• Wholesale Banking product/domain knowledge

• Data Profiling

• Data Gap Analysis

• Complex data transformations

• Strong understanding of data management practices

Key Responsibilities

• Understand business requirements and translate them into sustainable data model and technical solutions

• Design and document conceptual, logical and physical data models

• Prepare and maintain end-to-end Data Lineage documentation

• Perform source-to-target mapping including complex transformations

• Conduct data profiling and data gap analysis

• Work closely with developers and testers during development and testing

• Collaborate with multiple teams and stakeholders to understand and deliver business requirements

• Support the Module Lead and work effectively as part of the team

• Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Prepare technical documentation and presentations

• Demonstrate strong analytical, data management and problem-solving skills

• Work independently as a self-starter in a fast-paced environment

Candidate Profile

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Good presentation and documentation skills

• Ability to work independently with general guidelines

• Ability to collaborate effectively with developers, testers and business stakeholders

• Strong understanding of banking/wholesale banking processes will be preferred
