Technical Business Analyst

High Five is recruiting on behalf of a global destination management company in the travel & hospitality industry, operating across 11 countries in Asia. Known for delivering large-scale, tailor-made travel experiences, our client is currently modernizing its technology platform and investing in AI-enabled capabilities as part of a broader digital transformation.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate workshops, interviews and discovery sessions with stakeholders across business units and countries.
• Elicit, analyse and document business goals, challenges, processes, rules and operational requirements.
• Build trusted relationships with business stakeholders, Product Owners and delivery teams.
• Support alignment between strategic objectives, business outcomes and solution scope.
• Produce high-quality business and functional requirements using approved templates and standards.
• Create epics, features, user stories, business rules and acceptance criteria.
• Ensure requirements are complete, consistent, testable, prioritised and approved by relevant stakeholders.
• Maintain end-to-end requirements traceability throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Analyse and document current-state and future-state business processes.
• Identify process inefficiencies, control gaps and improvement opportunities.
• Facilitate fit-gap analysis and solution assessment activities.
• Develop process maps, workflow diagrams and practical improvement recommendations.
• Document data requirements, ownership, quality rules and business controls.
• Support data migration, cleansing, reconciliation and validation activities.
• Define reporting and analytics requirements.
• Collaborate with technical teams on API, interface and integration requirements.
• Validate proposed solutions against approved business requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Support system integration testing, user acceptance testing and business validation activities.
• Contribute to cutover, training, SOP development, operational readiness and handover activities.
• Support governance, change impact assessments, risk management and status reporting.
• Escalate risks and issues affecting scope, quality, timelines or business readiness.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of Business Analysis experience within technology, ERP, CRM, digital transformation or IT software delivery environments.
• Experience working on large-scale or complex transformation programs.
• Demonstrated experience across the full delivery lifecycle from discovery through deployment and hypercare.
• Strong practical experience with Agile, hybrid and structured delivery approaches.
• Proven ability to facilitate workshops and manage diverse stakeholder expectations.
• Experience delivering requirements across multiple workstreams, systems, countries or vendors.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• Preferred certification such as IIBA CBAP/CCBA, PMI-PBA or BCS Business Analysis.
• Desirable certifications in Agile, Scrum, Product Ownership, BPMN, Lean Six Sigma, project delivery or change management.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and/or Customer Engagement is advantageous.
• Knowledge of enterprise integrations, APIs, workflow automation, data migration and reporting.
• Experience within travel, tourism, hospitality or complex service operations is desirable.
