Are you a Business Analyst with strong insurance data experience and a passion for bridging business and technology?

We're hiring a Technical Business Analyst to join a major data transformation programme supporting a leading speciality insurance organisation. This role sits at the intersection of business, data and technology and offers the opportunity to work closely with Product Owners, Business Stakeholders and Data Engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

✅ Gather, analyse and document business requirements

✅ Translate business requirements into user stories and functional specifications

✅ Perform source system analysis and data mapping

✅ Develop Source-to-Target Mapping (STTM) documentation

✅ Support data validation and reconciliation activities

✅ Collaborate with business and technical teams throughout the delivery lifecycle

Required Experience

✔ Business Analysis experience within Insurance or Reinsurance

✔ Strong SQL skills

✔ User Story creation and requirements gathering

✔ Data mapping and source system analysis

✔ STTM development experience

✔ Understanding of data lineage and metadata

✔ Ability to convert business requirements into data specifications

✔ Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
