Technical Business Analyst

Job Purpose

The Business Analyst will work closely with Business, Technology, Product, Operations, and

Project teams to understand, analyze, and document business requirements for banking

applications and initiatives.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate business processes, identify gaps, and recommend process improvements.
• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from various stakeholders.
• Create BRDs, FRDs, User Stories, Use Cases, and Process Flows.
• Conduct requirement workshops and stakeholder discussions.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, Developers, QA teams, and Business Users.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications for technical teams.
• Participate in UAT planning, execution, defect tracking, and sign-off processes.
• Analyze and document API and system integration requirements, including request/response

mappings, validation rules, error scenarios, and callback flows.

• Work with external/internal systems to understand integration requirements and dependencies.
• Define functional requirements covering retry, fallback, status management, reconciliation, and

exception handling.

• Understand high-volume transaction workflows and capture relevant non-functional requirements

such as SLA, latency, availability, and scalability.

• Work closely with engineering and architecture teams to ensure requirements are technically

implementable and testable.

Technical Skills

• SQL and data analysis skills.
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Visio, or similar tools.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology.
• Understanding of API integrations and system interfaces.
• Strong documentation and process mapping skills.

Experience: 5-10 Years of relevant experience as a Business Analyst with Banking Domain

exposure.
