Technical Business Analyst (Data&Analytics)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst with strong Data Analytics expertise to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams. The ideal candidate will work closely with SMEs and stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document complex data requirements while driving agile delivery and ensuring high-quality data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, SMEs, and technical teams to gather and document data requirements.
• Conduct data discovery, profiling, and analysis across multiple data sources.
• Create and maintain source-to-target mapping documents, data dictionaries, and business requirements documentation.
• Work closely with Data Architects to understand and validate conceptual and logical data models.
• Define data quality requirements, data contracts, and schema specifications.
• Convert business requirements into Epics, User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, and Jira tasks.
• Support Agile ceremonies, backlog grooming, sprint planning, and UAT activities.
• Analyze data refresh processes including Batch, Streaming, Change Data Capture (CDC), and Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCD).
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of data-driven initiatives.
• Present findings, recommendations, and project updates to leadership and stakeholders.

Agile Delivery Experience:

• Epics, User Stories, Backlog Management
• Definition of Ready (DoR)
• Definition of Done (DoD)
• Acceptance Criteria
• UAT Planning Execution

Preferred Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Jira
• Exposure to Data Modeling techniques
• Experience working with Data Engineering and Analytics teams
