Technical Business Analyst (IoT & Smart Systems)

About the Role

Hitachi Digital Services is looking for a Technical Business Analyst to join our IoT engineering team in Ho Chi Minh City. In this role, you will bridge the gap between business requirements and technical execution, translating complex customer needs into clear technical specifications for IoT, SCADA, and smart infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document detailed business requirements; create functional and non-functional specifications, user stories, and process flows.
• Analyze existing software systems and processes to identify improvements and design feasible technical solutions.
• Collaborate closely with developers, system architects, and QA teams to ensure solutions meet business and architectural standards.
• Support system testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure delivered software meets quality criteria.
• Facilitate requirement workshops, technical discussions, and progress updates with global stakeholders.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an IT / Technical Business Analyst.
• Fluent in English (written and verbal) for international stakeholder communication.
• Strong knowledge of BA techniques, SDLC methodologies (Agile, V-Model, Spiral), and technical documentation.
• Technical understanding of software engineering concepts in IoT, SCADA, telecom, or civil engineering, with basic scripting skills (Python, VBA, or SQL).
• Interest or prior experience in the rail, transportation, or smart infrastructure domain.
• Strong problem-solving, research, and self-management capabilities.
