Technical Business Analyst/ System Analyst

A leading financial market infrastructure and exchange organization is seeking a Technical Business Analyst/ System Analyst to support the delivery and modernization of critical Listing Division systems.

This role will drive the full application delivery lifecycle, partnering with business stakeholders, development teams, vendors, and technology functions to deliver scalable, resilient, and secure enterprise applications. The successful candidate will combine strong business analysis capabilities with technical leadership experience, ensuring solutions align with business objectives while maintaining high standards of quality, performance, and governance.

The position requires extensive experience in enterprise application delivery, stakeholder management, solution design, testing governance, and production support within large-scale, mission-critical environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams, translating business requirements into scalable and sustainable technical solutions.
• Participate in project planning, scheduling, change management, release management, and issue resolution to ensure successful project delivery.
• Manage the end-to-end application delivery lifecycle, including requirements gathering, solution design, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Collaborate with business users, infrastructure, security, development teams, and external vendors to deliver high-quality technology solutions.
• Define and execute testing strategies across functional, performance, resilience, contingency, and security requirements to ensure application quality and reliability.
• Monitor project progress, manage risks and dependencies, and provide regular status updates to key stakeholders.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and third-party vendors to ensure deliverables meet timeline, quality, and governance standards.
• Support the design and delivery of modern enterprise applications leveraging microservices, APIs, and distributed architecture principles.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, technical best practices, and application modernization efforts.
• Mentor team members and promote knowledge sharing, technical excellence, and professional development within the team.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of experience delivering mission-critical, enterprise-scale application systems.
• Proven experience as a Senior System Analyst, Technical Business Analyst, Technical Project Lead, or equivalent role.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), project delivery methodologies, and application support processes.
• Demonstrated ability to bridge business and technical teams, translating requirements into scalable technology solutions.
• Solid knowledge of application architecture, including microservices, event-driven design, distributed systems, and scalability best practices.
• Hands-on exposure to web application technologies, Single Page Applications (SPA), API design, RESTful services, and API governance frameworks.
• Experience with OpenAPI, Swagger, API documentation standards, and system integration projects.
• Knowledge of database technologies and data modelling concepts, including PostgreSQL, GaussDB, Redis, or equivalent platforms, would be advantageous.
• Strong experience overseeing testing activities, ensuring compliance with functional, performance, operational, and security requirements.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
