Technical Buyer

• Responsible for sourcing the potential clients, developing and maintaining the database of customers using different sources, contact businesses or potential customers through phone calls and emails to market and present services.
• Review, validate and process all purchase request (PR) and purchase orders (PO) of the assigned categories. Make sure that all information to source the category is well indicated.
• Practice strategic sourcing to acquire materials, supplies and all services related to property management, general construction and subsidiaries.
• Research the current trends on the market related to the categories assigned to him/her and benchmark prices as a basis for negotiation.
• Conduct negotiation to reduce the cost and ensure a competitive price from suppliers, contractors and service providers to secure competitive price.
• Coordinate with the procurement and admin business unit in relation to contracts management and review to guarantee that the provisions are on the organizations' benefit.
• Maintain a good relationship with the suppliers, contractors and service providers.
• Manage, monitor and liaise with suppliers, service providers and contractors regarding status of deliveries and make sure that these are delivered on the right location on time.
• Provide assistance with the suppliers and contractors in collection of payment.
• In cases of bidding events, assist the procurement and admin business unit for the coordination with suppliers or any kind of support needed to complete the event.
• Provide weekly and monthly reports required by the department.
• Ensure that all transactions are recorded and safe keep all the documents related.
• Knowledge in refrigeration is a plus.

Qualification and Skills

• Bachelor's Degree of Mechanical Engineering
• Knowledge in Procurement tools and systems
• Expertise in strategic procurement
• Knowledge in contract management
• Negotiating skills
• Strong communication skills both oral and written
• Critical thinking and analytical skills
• Excellent computer skills (Excel, Microsoft Word, Power Point)
• Proficient in appropriate software
