Senior Technical Consultant

We are looking for an experienced Senior Technical Consultant to join our technology team in Leeds. This is an opportunity to work on high-impact technology projects, solve complex client challenges, and turn business requirements into practical technical solutions.

You’ll work across cloud, infrastructure, applications, data, and technology transformation, collaborating with clients, engineers, architects, and project teams. The role offers strong opportunities to expand your technical expertise, take ownership of projects, and progress within a growing technology environment.

What You'll Do

• Work with clients to understand business objectives, technical requirements, and challenges.
• Design scalable and practical technology solutions aligned with client needs.
• Lead technical discovery sessions, workshops, and requirements gathering.
• Support cloud migration, infrastructure modernization, application implementation, and digital transformation projects.
• Develop solution designs, technical specifications, architecture diagrams, and implementation plans.
• Collaborate with developers, cloud engineers, infrastructure teams, cybersecurity specialists, and project managers.
• Assess existing technology environments and recommend improvements.
• Support proof-of-concept activities and technology evaluations.
• Identify technical risks, dependencies, and opportunities for improvement.
• Support implementation, testing, deployment, and transition activities.
• Present technical recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Mentor junior consultants and contribute to technical best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Significant experience in technical consulting, solution architecture, cloud engineering, systems engineering, or a similar role.
• Strong experience translating business requirements into technical solutions.
• Practical experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Good understanding of enterprise infrastructure, networking, APIs, databases, applications, and system integration.
• Experience with cloud migration, technology transformation, or enterprise implementation projects.
• Familiarity with architecture and diagramming tools such as Visio, Lucidchart, or Draw.io.
• Understanding of cybersecurity, IAM, data protection, and secure solution design.
• Experience working in Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid environments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Relevant certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, TOGAF, or ITIL are desirable.
• Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom.

Pay: £75,000.00-£80,000.00 per year
