Technical Consultant – Treasury & Risk Management Solutions

Our client is a global technology and systems integration company serving financial institutions and other highly regulated industries. The organization delivers solutions across core banking, treasury and capital markets, risk management, regulatory compliance, cloud, cybersecurity, and data analytics.

We are looking for a Technical Consultant – Treasury & Risk Management Solutions to support financial applications, troubleshoot technical issues, manage integrations, and assist with implementations and critical go-live activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and support treasury and risk management applications across DEV, UAT, Production, and DR environments.
• Troubleshoot application, database, interface, batch processing, and production issues.
• Manage integrations with core banking systems, SWIFT, payment gateways, market data, and reporting platforms.
• Support upgrades, patches, data migrations, testing, go-live, and post-go-live activities.
• Use SQL and databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, Sybase, or PostgreSQL for troubleshooting and performance analysis.
• Develop scripts using Shell, PowerShell, or Python to automate support activities.
• Prepare technical documentation and root cause analysis reports.
• Work directly with clients and business stakeholders to resolve technical issues and deliver solutions.
• Travel internationally, particularly to GCC and African regions, when required.

Requirements

• 4–7 years of experience in banking technology, financial applications, application support, or production support.
• Strong SQL and database skills.
• Experience with Oracle, SQL Server, Sybase, or PostgreSQL.
• Scripting knowledge in Shell, PowerShell, or Python.
• Understanding of treasury, FX, derivatives, settlements, or risk reporting.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Comfortable working in client-facing environments and during critical go-live periods.
• Willingness to travel internationally when required.
