Technical Content Marketer

Location: (On-site) Hyderabad, India

We write for researchers at frontier AI labs and for AI and ML leaders at large enterprises. Theyre technical readers, and they expect content that gets the details right without sounding like jargon soup.

Youll turn our research, product capabilities and customer outcomes into content these readers find useful. Youll work closely with product marketing, our research team and the founders, and youll have room to carve a unique voice for Deccan AI in the market.

Responsibilities

• Distribution: Every piece starts with a plan for who will see it and where. Youll map the channels before you write, adapt the piece for each one and track how it performs.

• Long-form TOFU pieces: Write blog posts, newsletters, explainers and research write-ups that make our work appeal to people evaluating AI model training and deployment.

• BOFU content: Create landing pages, one-pagers and pitch for our datasets across modalities (audio, languages, coding RL, physical AI and more), our RL environments and our agent observability suite.Write landing pages, one-pagers and product descriptions across STARK, Helix, VoxClash and our physical AI line.

• SEO and AEO: Plan content around what our buyers search for. Structure pages so search engines and AI answer engines can find and cite them.

• Social media: Plan and write content for Deccans LinkedIn, X, and more.

• Strategic case studies: Work with customers and our sales team to write case studies that capture why each customer chose Deccan and what it changed for them.

• Launches and announcements: Write for funding news, partnerships, product releases and conferences.

• Shun AI slop: You take your writing personally, and you cant stand content that reads like it came off an assembly line and recognize a technical subject is never an excuse for flat, generic content.

• Pick up deep technical topics quickly: You need curiosity and the patience to ask experts good questions until you understand the subject well enough to explain it.

• Bring a point of view: You enjoy forming opinions about the industry and backing them up in writing.

• Obsess over quality: You edit your own drafts closely and use feedback to improve the work.

• Measure your work by results: You want to know whether a piece brought in traffic, leads or conversations, and you use that to decide what to write next.

• Use AI tools well: You use LLMs for research and first drafts, and you know how to edit the output so it reads like a person wrote it.

• Enjoy collaboration: Youre comfortable working with researchers, product managers, sales and design to get what a piece needs.

  Experience

• 1-3 years in B2B content marketing, editorial, journalism or product storytelling, ideally at a dev tools SaaS/technology company.

• A portfolio of your published writing for different channels

• Hands-on experience with SEO, and familiarity with how AI answers engines surface content.

If your experience falls slightly outside this range but your work makes the case, apply anyway.
