Join CELESTA L and contribute to major oil & gas projects by supporting one of our leading international clients.

We're looking for an experienced Technical Coordinator with a strong engineering background to play a key role in the technical coordination of an FPSO project, managing interfaces between discipline engineering teams and project management.

Your Responsibilities:

• Lead technical coordination efforts for the FPSO detailed engineering phase, ensuring alignment across all engineering disciplines (Structural, Piping, Process, Mechanical, Electrical, etc.).
• Manage the technical interfaces between discipline engineering teams and the broader project organization, identifying, tracking, and resolving interface issues to prevent schedule delays and cost impacts.
• Support project management in planning, executing, and monitoring engineering activities, ensuring technical decisions align with project schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
• Oversee and participate in design reviews, HAZOPs, and technical audits, ensuring all deliverables comply with industry standards, client specifications, and safety regulations.
• Act as the technical arbitrator when conflicts arise between disciplines regarding design scope or requirements.
• Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to ensure technical compliance and timely delivery of equipment and packages.
• Provide regular technical status reports to project management, highlighting risks, progress, and critical path items.

What We're Looking For:

⚙️ Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry, with a strong focus on offshore projects (FPSO experience highly preferred). At least 5 years of hands-on technical experience as a Discipline Engineer.

🛠️ Technical Skills: Strong background in Piping, Structural, or Process engineering. Proficiency in engineering software and Microsoft Office Suite.

📘 Engineering Expertise: Proven experience in technical coordination on FPSO projects, managing interfaces between discipline engineering and project management. Knowledge of detailed engineering processes, design reviews, and compliance with industry standards.

📊 Project Management Skills: Demonstrated experience in project management or technical coordination, with strong planning, reporting, and risk management capabilities.

🤝 Soft Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
