TECHNICAL COORDINATOR

About the role

Polystar Manpower Services is seeking a dedicated Technical Coordinator to join our Building Services Engineering team. This is a full-time position based in Paranaque City, Metro Manila. As a Technical Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting the efficient operation and maintenance of building systems and services. Your primary focus will be to coordinate technical activities, manage documentation, and facilitate communication between various stakeholders to ensure all building systems operate at peak performance and in compliance with industry standards.

What you'll be doing

• Coordinating maintenance schedules and technical inspections for building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety systems
• Preparing and maintaining technical documentation, reports, and records related to building services operations
• Liaising between technical teams, facility management, and clients to ensure smooth communication and timely resolution of issues
• Monitoring compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards
• Assisting in the coordination of preventative maintenance programmes and emergency repairs
• Supporting the technical team with site inspections, assessments, and troubleshooting activities
• Preparing work orders, technical specifications, and scheduling documents
• Tracking equipment inventory, spare parts, and maintenance materials
• Attending site meetings and providing technical updates to stakeholders
• Supporting the development and implementation of standard operating procedures for building systems

What we're looking for

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Building Services Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience as a Technical Coordinator, Building Services Technician, or similar role within the building services or facilities management sector
• Strong knowledge of building systems including HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, fire safety systems, and building automation
• Familiarity with building codes, safety standards, and relevant regulations in the Philippines
• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Filipino
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications and building management software
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and external stakeholders
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate technical records and documentation
• Physical capability to conduct site visits and inspections
• Valid driver's licence is preferred
• Relevant certifications in building services, fire safety, or energy management are advantageous
