Technical Coordinator – Glass Division

We are looking for an experienced Technical Coordinator to join our Glass Division. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge of glass partitions, glass doors, and related glazing systems, with practical experience in supply and installation projects.

The candidate will be responsible for coordinating technical requirements from project initiation through installation and completion, ensuring proper documentation, product coordination, and smooth communication between the design, procurement, project and site teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the technical aspects of glass partition and glass door projects from quotation through completion.
• Have excellent knowledge of glass partitions, framed and frameless glass doors, shower enclosures, sliding systems, and related glass products.
• Review project drawings, specifications, BOQs and technical requirements.
• Prepare and coordinate technical submittals, material submittals, shop drawings, samples and product data sheets.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, project engineers and site teams regarding technical requirements.
• Review site conditions and coordinate required site measurements before production and installation.
• Coordinate with suppliers and procurement teams regarding glass specifications, hardware, accessories, profiles and other project materials.
• Ensure that approved materials and products are correctly coordinated with the project requirements.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including material approvals, drawings, inspection requests, delivery documents and completion documents.
• Coordinate with the installation team to ensure that materials are supplied and installed according to approved drawings and specifications.
• Monitor product handling, storage, transportation and site delivery to minimize damage and ensure proper handling of glass and hardware.
• Assist the project team in resolving technical issues and site discrepancies.
• Coordinate variations, additional requirements and discrepancies between drawings and actual site conditions.
• Maintain proper records of project approvals, revisions, technical correspondence and documentation.
• Support the Project Manager and Operations Team in ensuring projects are delivered according to the required quality and technical standards.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2–3 years of UAE experience in the glass, glazing, fit-out or construction industry.
• Strong practical knowledge of glass partitions and glass doors – supply and installation.
• Good understanding of glass types, thicknesses, hardware, fittings, profiles and installation methods.
• Strong experience in technical documentation and project submittals.
• Ability to read and understand AutoCAD drawings, shop drawings and architectural drawings.
• Knowledge of project coordination, material approvals and consultant/contractor requirements.
• Good understanding of glass product handling, packing, transportation and site installation procedures.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Good knowledge of MS Office; AutoCAD knowledge is preferred.
• Ability to coordinate multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• UAE driving licence is an advantage.
• Immediate joiners are preferred.

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED3,250.00 per month
