Job Overview

KRS Landscape Works LLC is seeking a skilled and proactive Technical Coordinator (Precast) to join our team in Dubai. In this role, you will act as the key liaison between project managers, design and drafting teams, factory production units, and on-site execution teams. You will ensure accurate shop drawing preparation, technical submittals, QA/QC compliance, and seamless coordination of precast concrete elements from initial engineering to site installation.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Review & Coordination:
• Review architectural, structural, and MEP drawings to verify compatibility with precast elements.
• Coordinate with engineering consultants, clients, and subcontractors to resolve technical clashes, Requests for Information (RFIs), and site discrepancies.
• Drawings & Submittals Management:
• Supervise and coordinate the preparation of precast shop drawings, fabrication drawings, bar bending schedules (BBS), and erection/installation sequence plans.
• Prepare and submit material approvals, method statements, technical submittals, and compliance sheets as per project specifications.
• Production & Site Liaison:
• Liaise with the precast manufacturing factory to align production schedules with site erection priorities and delivery timelines.
• Track and monitor casting schedules, mold adjustments, embedment placements, and lifting/rigging requirements.
• Conduct periodic site visits to inspect precast delivery, verify installation alignment, and troubleshoot on-site technical issues.
• Documentation & Quality Assurance:
• Maintain up-to-date document control logs for drawings, RFIs, submittals, inspection requests (IRs), and variation orders.
• Ensure all precast elements and technical processes adhere to UAE local municipality regulations, ASTM/BS standards, and company QA/QC procedures.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Architecture.
• Experience:
• 3 to 6 years of experience in technical coordination or precast engineering within the UAE / GCC construction sector.
• Proven experience handling precast concrete elements (e.g., boundary walls, paving/cladding panels, precast landscape structures, structural precast units).
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is required; working knowledge of Revit/BIM, Tekla Structures, or MS Project is a strong advantage.
• In-depth understanding of precast manufacturing, mold details, reinforcement, connections, and jointing details.
• Competencies:
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• High attention to detail with problem-solving and organizational abilities.
