Technical Customer Service Assistant

Power Parameters are looking for a Technical Customer Service Assistant who will supports customer-facing and internal operations by responding to enquiries, preparing quotations, processing orders and payments, maintaining customer records, and assisting with marketing activities.

Power Parameters supplies electrical test and measurement equipment across Australia. You'd be the first point of contact for our customers — answering enquiries, preparing quotes, processing orders through our ERP, and keeping people updated from order to delivery. You'll work alongside our sales, engineering and service teams, which is how you'll build the technical knowledge that makes this role different from general admin.

What the job looks like day to day

• Answering customer calls and emails, and knowing the answer more often as time goes on
• Preparing quotes and getting orders through the system accurately
• Chasing suppliers and freight so customers aren't chasing you
• Keeping customer records clean enough that everyone else can rely on them

What we're looking for

• You've handled a busy inbox and phone line before — around two years in customer service, sales support or order processing
• You're accurate under pressure and you follow things through
• You're comfortable learning a technical product range; we don't expect you to arrive knowing it
• You've used Microsoft Office in a business setting. ERP experience is a bonus, not a requirement
