As a leading provider of services to operating and engineering companies, we are committed to provide our clients with the best possible service. All our candidates go through an extensive selection process supported by ISO 9001. To secure the best match for a project, we take time to get to know the person behind the CV. Function

In This Role, You Will

  • Deliver trusted geospatial data, maps and technical data packages that support offshore operations, projects, survey activities and regulatory reporting.
  • Manage, analyse and quality-control spatial data to ensure it is complete, correctly positioned, consistently structured and fit for operational use.
  • Maintain and improve operational geospatial workflows using ArcMap, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise, FME and supporting automation tools.
  • Work closely with users, data owners, survey specialists and other technical disciplines to clarify requirements, resolve data issues and deliver practical solutions.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of geospatial data models, standards, symbology, metadata, procedures and technical guidance.
  • Identify recurring operational needs and help convert manual activities into documented, repeatable and sustainable workflows.
  • Support users and colleagues through troubleshooting, knowledge sharing, documentation and practical guidance.
  • Explore opportunities to use AI to improve and streamline day-to-day processes.

Typical Tasks Will Include

  • Prepare and quality-control maps, charts, data packages and other geospatial deliverables for offshore activities and projects.
  • Quality control, transform, integrate and publish data from internal systems, external providers, engineering and survey sources.
  • Perform coordinate reference system checks, transformations and georeferencing to ensure accurate positioning.
  • Review spatial data, metadata, symbology and services for compliance with agreed data models and business requirements, resolving any discrepancies identified.
  • Prepare and submit geospatial information to relevant authorities in accordance with applicable reporting requirements.
  • Maintain technical documentation, templates and user guidance, and support incoming geospatial requests.
  • Evaluate new data sources and workflow enhancements, contributing to standards and initiatives that improve data quality and operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in geospatial sciences, GIS, geomatics, surveying, geography, engineering, data management or another relevant discipline. Relevant practical experience may compensate for formal education.
  • Relevant experience in managing, analysing, quality-controlling and visualising geospatial data.
  • Practical experience with ArcMap and ArcGIS Pro, together with an understanding of coordinate reference systems, spatial data quality and common geospatial data formats.
  • Experience with ArcGIS Enterprise. FME, automation or scripting is an advantage.
  • Experience from offshore operations, surveying, engineering or the energy industry is an advantage.
  • Practical experience with use of Service Now and Azure Dev Ops is useful.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English; Norwegian language skills are an advantage.
