Technical Delivery Manager

Responsibilities

1. Lead end-to-end delivery of IT projects and product releases from planning to post-release stabilization.
2. Own release cadence, calendars, code-freeze windows, and environment promotion (DEV to PROD).
3. Lead release planning, scope locking, dependency mapping, and readiness assessments.
4. Chair Go/No-Go and CAB reviews to secure cross-functional approvals.
5. Plan and execute production cutovers, runbooks, deployment schedules, and rollback strategies.
6. Manage release documentation, post-release hypercare, and hotfix/emergency change processes.
7. Track and optimize release metrics (deployment frequency, lead time, failure rate, MTTR, rollback rate).
8. Coordinate cross-functional teams and vendors while serving as primary contact for executive reporting.

Qualifications

1. 7–10 years of experience in IT delivery, technical program, or release management.
2. Proven track record managing enterprise production releases, major cutovers, rollbacks, and vendors.
3. Strong command of release management, CAB, cutover/rollback strategies, and ITIL practices.
4. Solid understanding of SDLC (Agile, Scrum, DevOps), CI/CD pipelines, and deployment patterns.
5. Proficiency with delivery tools such as Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, and Git-based pipelines.
6. Strong analytical and executive communication skills to turn technical data into actionable insights.
7. Calm and decisive under pressure when making Go/No-Go decisions.
8. Professional certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum, or ITIL) are preferred.
