Technical Delivery Manager

The Technical Delivery Manager is responsible for leading end-to-end software delivery projects, combining strong technical knowledge with project and delivery management skills. The role ensures effective delivery across the SDLC while working closely with technical teams, clients, and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage end-to-end software delivery projects using Agile or Waterfall methodologies
• Manage project scope, schedule, resources, risks, issues, and stakeholder expectations
• Work closely with technical teams on software development, application architecture, databases, testing, deployment, and production support
• Review and manage technical diagrams, documentation, and other technical artifacts
• Oversee production deployments, patches, application performance, incident management, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
• Apply knowledge of programming concepts, design patterns, SOLID principles, cloud and on-premise environments, security, version control, and monolithic/microservices architectures
• Utilize tools such as Jira and Confluence to support software delivery and SDLC activities
• Provide technical guidance to project teams and effectively communicate with clients and stakeholders

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of technical experience and Delivery Management experience
• Strong background in software development and technical delivery
• Experience managing end-to-end software projects
• Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, and Waterfall methodologies
• Working knowledge of application architecture, databases, testing, cloud/on-premise environments, security, and software deployment
• Knowledge of programming concepts, design patterns, SOLID principles, and microservices architecture
• Experience with production support, performance troubleshooting, incident management, and RCA
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and code versioning tools
• Strong project management, problem-solving, client management, and stakeholder management skills
