Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Technical Delivery Manager to oversee the end-to-end delivery of software development projects across multiple technologies and platforms. The role combines technical leadership, project management, and team coordination to ensure solutions are delivered on schedule, within budget, and according to quality standards.

The ideal candidate has a strong software development background, understands system architecture and design principles, and can coordinate effectively with developers, quality assurance teams, business stakeholders, and other technical groups.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end software project delivery, from planning and requirements assessment to development, testing, and deployment.
• Coordinate with development leads and cross-functional teams to manage project schedules, resources, deliverables, and budgets.
• Ensure projects are appropriately staffed based on technical requirements and team capabilities.
• Review technical designs, software architecture, source code, and development deliverables to maintain quality standards.
• Work with business and requirements teams to assess project needs and translate them into technical deliverables.
• Coordinate with Quality Assurance teams to track defects and ensure timely resolution.
• Collaborate with enterprise architecture and solutions teams to align projects with technology standards and architecture direction.
• Support production deployments, troubleshoot technical issues, and oversee root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Apply Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery approaches based on project requirements.
• Facilitate project meetings, monitor delivery progress, and communicate risks, issues, and updates to stakeholders.
• Participate in the evaluation of vendor systems and technical solutions.
• Mentor team members and promote continuous improvement in development practices and delivery processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 7 years of experience in technical delivery or delivery management.
• At least 7 years of experience in software development and project management.
• At least 1 year of experience leading and managing software development teams.
• Proven experience delivering software projects end to end, from planning and design through testing and deployment.
• Strong programming background, with a solid understanding of software development practices.
• Extensive knowledge of software design patterns, SOLID principles, and architecture reviews.
• Hands-on experience with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid SDLC models, including Agile ceremonies and delivery practices.
• Experience preparing and reviewing technical documentation, diagrams, and system artifacts.
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and other project management or documentation tools.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, as well as on-premises infrastructure, scalability, and security practices.
• Working knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases, performance tuning, software testing, defect management, and deployment automation.
• Experience with production deployment planning, root cause analysis (RCA), patch handling, and DevOps processes.
• Knowledge of budgeting, resource allocation, and project planning.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
