Technical Delivery Manager – Data Architecture

We are looking for a Technical Delivery Manager to lead end-to-end data delivery, coordinate with offshore teams, manage dependencies across multiple data programmes, and provide technical leadership across Databricks, cloud data platforms, and data architecture. Recent P&C insurance and London Market experience is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Architecture: Review and enhance enterprise data architecture, data models, ETL pipelines, and data warehouse solutions, ensuring scalability, performance, security, and data quality.
• Technical Leadership: Provide architecture guidance across Databricks, cloud data platforms, data integration, and legacy-to-cloud migration initiatives.
• Delivery Management: Own end-to-end delivery across requirements, design, development, testing, and deployment, managing scope, timelines, resources, risks, and dependencies.
• Programme Coordination: Coordinate offshore teams, manage interdependencies across multiple data workstreams, and collaborate with business stakeholders, vendors, and integration partners.
• Governance & Quality: Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture standards, data governance policies, quality controls, and delivery methodologies.
• Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for technical delivery, provide regular status updates, resolve delivery issues, and drive continuous improvement.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience in data architecture, data engineering, and end-to-end delivery management .
• Hands-on experience with Databricks, cloud data platforms, ETL frameworks, and data warehousing .
• Proven ability to lead enterprise-scale data programmes and coordinate offshore delivery teams.
• Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, integration, and migration.
• P&C insurance and London Market domain experience , ideally involving recent projects with London Market clients.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, risk management, and problem-solving skills.
