Technical Delivery Manager – Oracle Retail MFCS

Hybrid: alternating one week onsite in Central/Eastern Illinois with one week remote

Evolve Partners is supporting a specialist transformation consultancy seeking a Technical Delivery Manager to support an Oracle Retail Merchandising Foundation Cloud Service (MFCS) implementation for a large US retailer.

We’re interested in candidates who combine Oracle Retail implementation expertise with the ability to coordinate technical delivery across business stakeholders, internal technology teams and implementation partners.

The opportunity

You’ll support delivery of the technical workstreams underpinning the MFCS implementation, helping teams turn business requirements into coordinated implementation plans and resolve issues across systems, data and processes.

The anticipated scope includes:

• Coordinating technical delivery across the implementation partner and internal teams.

• Managing technical plans, milestones, dependencies, risks and issues.

• Working with solution architects and functional leads to resolve design decisions and delivery challenges.

• Coordinating integration, data migration and technical testing activities.

• Supporting environment readiness, release planning and deployment coordination.

• Helping plan cutover, go-live and post-launch stabilisation.

• Providing clear progress reporting and escalating decisions requiring programme leadership input.

Your background

• Experience delivering Oracle Retail merchandising implementations, with direct MFCS experience particularly relevant.

• A background in technical delivery management, technical project management, solution architecture or implementation leadership.

• Experience coordinating integrations, data migration, testing and deployment across enterprise systems.

• Ability to work effectively with retail business teams, technical specialists and third-party delivery partners.

• Strong planning, dependency management, risk management and stakeholder communication.

• Consulting or systems-integration experience would be valuable.

Candidates with Oracle Retail RMS implementation experience and exposure to cloud migration are also encouraged to outline their relevant experience.

Please distinguish your Oracle Retail Merchandising experience from other Oracle products, such as ERP, HCM or Transportation Management.

Location and engagement

The role requires one full week onsite at a rural Illinois location, alternating with one week remote.

You may be based elsewhere in the United States, provided you can commit to this travel pattern.

The opportunity is expected to be a contract engagement, although permanent employment may also be considered. Compensation, duration and start arrangements will be discussed as the brief is finalised.
