TECHNICAL DESIGN HEAD

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Leadership: Manage the technical design department, providing strategic direction on building science, materials, and constructability.
• Design Execution: Translate architectural concepts into highly detailed construction drawings and specifications.
• Quality Control: Establish and enforce quality assurance protocols for all project documentation to minimize risks and errors during construction.
• Code Compliance: Lead feasibility research, zoning reviews, and ensure all designs comply with local building codes, life safety regulations, and accessibility standards.
• Team Management: Mentor, train, and oversee junior architects, architects, and other design staff, fostering a culture of technical excellence.
• Cross-Disciplinary Coordination: Collaborate with other department such as MEPF (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing & Fire Protection) engineers, and implementation team.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field often preferred.
• Licensure: advantage but not required
• Software Proficiency: Expertise in CAD (AutoCAD, Revit) and BIM.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of architectural design, construction principles, and local building codes.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, planning, problem-solving, and time management skills.
• Experience: Experience in creating construction documents and working through project phases.
