Technical Designer

The Technical Designer will work closely with Project Managers, Senior Designers and the Manufacturing teams to bring client concepts to reality through shop ready drawings using SolidWorks.

Qualified candidates must have a background in Computer Aided Design or similar work related experience, proven CAD proficiency and portfolio examples showing strong concept development to CAD implementation intended for manufacturing.

 Hourly Rate: $22.00 - $25.00

Requirements

·       Excellent interpersonal skills

·       Skilled in spatial visualization and reverse engineering

·       Superior problem solving and critical thinking skills

·       Self-motivated and able to work independently and in a collaborative team

·       Ability to manage changing priorities, adjust work schedules while maintaining project deliverables and assuring all deadlines are met

·       Strong written and verbal communication skills for all levels within the organization

·       Willingness to be hands-on for continued learning and development of production ready deliverables

·       Able to work overtime as required to meet the demands or our clients

·       Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Technology, Industrial Design, Architecture or Computer Aided Design preferred

·       One to Three years design experience

·       Proven CAD proficiency and Portfolio examples showing strong concept development with CAD implementation intended for manufacturing

·       SolidWorks required

·       Broad knowledge of manufacturing and fabrication processes
