TECHNICAL DESIGNER

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design, Textile Engineering, Garment Technology, Apparel Production, or a related field.

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Technical Design, Garment Design, Product Development, or a similar role within the Garment, Apparel, or Textile industry.

• Strong understanding of garment construction, pattern making, measurements, sizing, fitting, sewing techniques, and garment manufacturing processes.

• Expert command of Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and relevant CAD tools for technical drawings and garment development.

• Good communication skills in English and ability to work closely with Design, Merchandising, Production, Quality, Pattern Makers, and suppliers/factories.

• Excellent aesthetic sense, able to work under tight deadlines, and a proactive problem-solving mindset.

• Tread Analysis capability. New Trend and Fashion Set.

• Stay up to date with the latest trends in modest fashion and apply them to product designs.

• Must have good knowledge of wash techniques and various print media

• Must be willing to work under pressure and long hours.

• Strong understanding of fabric and ready-made garments dynamics.

• Creative, visionary and has a passion for fashion.

Job Descriptions :

• Select best raw materials for the sample making.

• Develop sketches, patterns, and prototypes of designs to present to the customers and management.

• Work alongside production, marketing, and sales teams to ensure that designs are brought to life and meet brand standards.

• Working in illustrator, photoshop or any other fashion design software to develop the sketches, embroideries, prints & accessories.

• Understanding the buyers mood boards, seasonal colour trend, material trend & different fabric qualities.

• Ensure the timely & successful design & development of products in line with the requirements.
