Technical Designer

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare shop drawings, detailed drawings, and as-built plans based on project requirements
• Interpret architectural and engineering plans for aluminum works (windows, doors, facades, curtain wall,etc.)
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and site teams for design clarifications
• Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications and standards
• Revise drawings based on client and internal feedback
• Assist in material take-offs and basic cost estimation
• Maintain organized documentation of drawings and revisions
• Conduct actual site measurements and validate dimensions prior to design and fabrication

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Drafting Technology, or related field
• With at least more than 2 years of experience as a Technical Designer (preferably in aluminum or construction industry)
• Proficient in AutoCAD (required); knowledge in SketchUp, STAAD or similar software is a plus
• Strong understanding of technical drawings and detailing
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Detail-oriented and able to work under deadlines
