Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accurate tech packs, specifications, construction pages, fit comments, and bills of materials throughout the product lifecycle.
• Measure and prepare samples, lead live-model fit sessions, and provide technical direction on fit, balance, construction, and styling issues.
• Establish and maintain consistent brand standards for fit, specifications, construction, and fabric applications, including wovens, knitwear, and cut-and-sew garments.
• Launch domestically developed samples to overseas factories, issue grading guidelines, and review factory-submitted grade rule changes.
• Partner with cross-functional teams and overseas vendors to resolve production issues, answer technical questions, maintain the T&A calendar, and communicate solutions within tight timelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college.
• 5–7 years of Technical Design experience in the designer or contemporary apparel market, with a strong background in wovens.
• Excellent understanding of brand aesthetic, fit, and garment quality standards.
• Strong garment construction and patternmaking knowledge.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized, with clear written, visual, and verbal communication skills.
