Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Technical Designer with strong expertise in furniture design, joinery detailing, and technical working drawings. The candidate will be responsible for translating interior concepts and 3D designs into accurate, production-ready drawings for manufacturing and site execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed furniture working drawings and shop drawings using AutoCAD.
• Convert 3D concepts and sketches into precise, dimensioned technical drawings.
• Develop furniture elevations, sections, joinery details, assembly drawings, and cut lists.
• Specify materials, hardware, veneers, lacquers, and surface finishes.
• Ensure drawings are technically accurate, feasible for manufacturing, and ready for production.
• Coordinate with interior designers, factory teams, vendors, and site execution teams.
• Resolve technical queries related to furniture manufacturing and on-site installation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Qualification in Interior Design, Furniture Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in furniture shop drawings and interior working drawings.
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD; working knowledge of SketchUp and MS Office.
• Strong understanding of furniture construction, wood joinery, hardware mechanisms, and materials.
• Knowledge of hardware brands such as Blum, Häfele, and Hettich is preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
