Technical Development Specialist (Platform Developer)

The Platform Developer will be responsible for developing, enhancing, integrating, and maintaining web applications, e-commerce platforms, and internal business systems. The role supports the implementation of technical solutions based on defined business requirements and provides technical support to ensure the reliability and continuous improvement of applications.

Key Responsibilities

1. Application Development & Maintenance

• Develop, enhance, and maintain web applications and internal business systems.
• Implement new features and system enhancements based on business and technical requirements.
• Perform coding, testing, debugging, and deployment activities.
• Troubleshoot application issues and help maintain system stability and performance.

2. System Integration & Automation

• Develop and maintain APIs, webhooks, and third-party system integrations.
• Support automation of business processes and repetitive tasks.
• Work with e-commerce, workflow, and other business platforms as required.
• Monitor and troubleshoot integration-related issues.

3. Requirements & Technical Implementation

• Work with users and business teams to understand system requirements.
• Translate requirements into practical technical solutions.
• Assist in solution design and technical implementation.
• Coordinate with other IT teams or third-party providers when required.

4. Technical Support & Documentation

• Provide technical support for applications, integrations, and business systems.
• Investigate and resolve application and system issues.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation and system references.
• Assist in user training and explain system processes when needed.

5. System Improvement

• Identify opportunities to improve existing applications, processes, and system integrations.
• Support the implementation of improvements that enhance system efficiency, reliability, and usability.
• Follow established development standards, security practices, and coding guidelines.

Technical Requirements

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in web or application development.
• Good understanding of databases and SQL.
• Knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, and webhooks.
• Experience with Git or other version control systems.
• Knowledge of software development, testing, debugging, and deployment.
• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Advantage / Preferred:

• Experience with Python, TypeScript, Elixir, or similar programming languages.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, MariaDB, MySQL, or similar databases.
• Experience with Shopify or other e-commerce platforms.
• Experience with Airtable, n8n, or other workflow automation tools.
• Experience integrating third-party APIs and services.
• Experience with Docker, cloud platforms
• Experience with e-commerce, fulfillment, inventory, or order management systems.
• Experience working directly with business users and stakeholders.

Role Focus

The Technical Development Specialist is primarily a hands-on technical role, focused on application development, system integration, automation, troubleshooting, and technical implementation.

The position works closely with business users and other IT team members to translate requirements into reliable and maintainable technical solutions.
