What they need

Documentation that is accurate down to the last detail

Documentation that is accurate down to the last detail, for products that travel all over the world. As a Technical Document Controller at Breman Machinery, you are the key link ensuring that offshore platforms, defence systems and aerospace components are built using accurate and properly managed documentation. There is a reason we say: “if it takes extreme precision.”

What will you be doing?

As a Technical Document Controller, you are responsible for the complete documentation landscape at Breman Machinery. You manage, update and improve procedures, templates, quality documentation and project documentation for projects in the offshore, defence and aerospace industries. Our customers have high standards, and rightly so. You make sure the documentation meets those standards.

You work closely with Project Managers, Sales and operational departments. This is not a role where you spend all day behind a desk. You actively gather information from the shop floor, identify opportunities for improvement and translate customer requirements into clear, practical documentation. You also act as a knowledgeable sparring partner when it comes to procedures and working methods.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Managing and updating procedures, templates and quality documentation
  • Collecting and revising existing documents based on customer feedback and applicable standards
  • Ensuring a consistent document structure and corporate style
  • Supporting Project Management and Sales with customer documentation for complex projects
  • Identifying opportunities for improvement and contributing to the further development of working methods

What we offer

  • A salary that reflects your experience and responsibilities
  • A good pension scheme through PMT
  • Travel allowance of €0.19 per kilometre, increasing to €0.21 per kilometre for commutes of 30 kilometres or more each way
  • 25 days of annual leave, plus the option to purchase an additional 64 hours of leave each year
  • Overtime paid out or compensated with time off – the choice is yours

You will join an organisation with short lines of communication where we believe in being straightforward and saying things as they are. Our working hours are Monday to Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and on Fridays we finish at 2:30 p.m. That means an early start to your weekend.

Want to develop yourself further? You will have plenty of opportunities to do so. Think of education, training and courses that match your field of expertise and ambitions.

And if you enjoy social activities, we have an active staff association that regularly organises events. Joining is entirely up to you.

Your profile

  • You have completed at least an MBO level 4 qualification, preferably in an administrative or technical field
  • You have at least 5 years of work experience in a technical project environment
  • You have an affinity with technical processes and quality management systems
  • You are able to translate practical information into clear and consistent documentation
  • You communicate easily with different stakeholders and take ownership of your responsibilities
  • You have a good command of both Dutch and English, spoken and written
  • You work accurately and in a structured manner – even when things get hectic

Working on true craftsmanship

At Breman Machinery, you won't be working on standard products or mass production. You will work on technical projects that demand craftsmanship, precision and quality. It is exactly this variety that makes the work challenging. Every project is different and requires something new from your knowledge and experience.

You are trusted to carry out your work independently and given the freedom to contribute ideas about the best possible solution. Not because you have to, but because we believe skilled professionals make the difference. To us, quality is not just a final inspection, it is part of the entire process.

And perhaps most importantly, you will work alongside colleagues who take just as much pride in their craft as you do. We believe in short lines of communication, helping each other move forward and being straightforward with one another. No unnecessary hassle, just working together to create something you can genuinely be proud to put your name to.
