Technical Documentation Engineer in Aeronautics

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Technical Writer with a strong background in aeronautics to join our team at JANA, a leading aviation company specializing in innovative solutions and high-quality services for aircraft certification and maintenance. Committed to safety and excellence, we adhere to the highest industry standards while collaborating with clients to ensure optimal aircraft performance.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining technical documentation related to aircraft systems, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and compliance with industry regulations.

This is a temporary position with a contract duration of 3 months.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain technical documents, manuals, and guides for aeronautical systems.
• Collaborate with engineers and subject matter experts to gather information and understand technical concepts.
• Utilize Microsoft tools for documentation creation and management.
• Ensure all documentation meets regulatory standards and internal quality requirements.
• Review and edit documents for clarity, consistency, and technical accuracy.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering or a Technical Degree in Aircraft Maintenance, General Technical Degree, or any related field in aeronautics and aviation.
• Strong knowledge of aeronautical principles, aircraft design, and systems.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate complex ideas clearly.
• Experience with technical writing tools and software such as FrameMaker.
• Ability to view and interpret 3D models.
• Sufficient English proficiency to participate in meetings.
• Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to simplify complex information.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering reports and technical documents.
• Strong written communication skills for technical documentation.
• Valid visa
