Technical Educator

We are currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Casual Technical Educator to support our salon partners throughout the Newcastle and Maitland region on an as-needed basis.

About the Opportunity

As a NAK Hair Technical Educator, you will play a key role in supporting and inspiring our salon community. Working closely with our salon partners, you will deliver engaging education, hands-on training, workshops and product demonstrations across the NAK Hair Professional portfolio.

This is a flexible casual role suited to an experienced hairdresser who is passionate about education, enjoys building relationships, and can confidently support salons in both group and one-on-one learning environments.

The role includes local travel throughout the Newcastle, Maitland and surrounding areas, with occasional regional travel and overnight stays when required.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Qualified Hairdresser with a minimum of 5 years industry experience
• Previous education or training experience highly regarded, but not essential
• Strong technical knowledge across professional salon products, colour and styling
• Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills
• Confidence delivering education in both workshop and in-salon environments
• Ability to think on your feet, troubleshoot and adapt to different learning styles
• A passion for developing salon owners and their teams
• A professional approach with a high standard of personal presentation
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently
• A positive attitude, willingness to learn and openness to feedback
• Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle
• Ability to travel throughout the region, including occasional overnight stays
