Technical Engineer (Civil)

Qualification:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.

• Has 10 years of experience in construction projects.

• Holding a valid Associate Civil Engineer licence issued by the Council of Engineers Thailand

• Strong communication and coordination skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with project teams, subcontractors, consultants, and clients.

• Extensive experience in building construction projects; experience in Data Center projects or large-scale industrial/technical facilities is highly preferred.

• Strong technical knowledge of reinforced concrete structures, prefabricated wall systems, waterproofing works, and MEP coordination.

• Proven hands-on experience in the preparation, review, and control of technical documentation, including Shop Drawings, Design Calculations, BIM Models, Method Statements, and Bar Bending Schedules (BBS).

• Good command of written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate effectively and prepare technical documentation.

• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint); familiarity with BIM workflows and coordination processes will be considered an advantage.

Job Description:

• Review, quality-control, and provide technical comments on Shop Drawings, Design Calculations, BIM models, Method Statements, and Bar Bending Schedules (BBS) before submission to the main contractor and project owner.
• Control and manage the project's drawing and engineering documentation works; monitor the rolling submission programme to ensure deliverables meet project deadlines.
• Conduct design reviews and propose optimization measures — e.g. material savings, rebar cutting waste minimisation (Bar Cutting Optimization), and constructability improvements suited to site conditions.
• Control technical standards to ensure compliance with the project owner's and main contractor's requirements as well as applicable international and Thai standards.
• Coordinate technically with the main contractor, project owner, and all related parties; prepare and review Q&A documents, RFIs, and technical clarifications.
• Verify design coordination with MEP embedded items, waterproofing, Pre-Cast / ALC / LSF wall systems, and Ring-lock scaffolding to prevent impacts on concrete pours and wall closures.

• Monday to Saturday, 08:00 AM – 05:30 PM
• Lunch Break: 12:00 PM – 01:30 PM (1.5 hours)
