Technical Engineer (Civil)

We are looking for an experienced Technical Engineer (Civil) with a minimum of 5 years of GCC construction experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in project execution, technical coordination, site support, and engineering documentation, with the ability to collaborate effectively with project teams, consultants, and subcontractors to deliver projects in line with quality standards, specifications, and timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for project execution and engineering activities on-site and in the office.
• Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Coordinate with site teams, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to resolve technical issues.
• Prepare and submit RFIs (Requests for Information), technical queries, method statements, and technical reports.
• Review and prepare shop drawings, as-built drawings, and technical submissions.
• Support material submittals, approvals, and technical compliance processes.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure work is executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Perform quantity take-offs, material estimation, and engineering calculations.
• Monitor construction progress and provide technical solutions to project challenges.
• Coordinate with procurement teams for technical evaluation of materials and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with UAE building regulations, project specifications, QA/QC procedures, and HSE requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of technical documents, revisions, and project correspondence.
• Participate in project meetings and provide technical recommendations.
• Support testing, commissioning, project close-out, and handover activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of GCC construction experience as a Technical Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of engineering principles, construction methodologies, and technical coordination.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory) and working knowledge of Revit/BIM.
• Experience with Primavera P6, MS Project, and advanced Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, shop drawings, and design documents.
• Hands-on experience in site execution, technical documentation, quantity take-offs, material estimation, and procurement coordination.
• Good knowledge of QA/QC procedures, HSE requirements, UAE Building Codes, Dubai Municipality regulations, and project compliance standards.

Pay: AED14,000.00 - AED16,000.00 per month
