Technical Engineer

Established on June 29, 2001, the company is a leading manufacturer of ball bearings in the ASEAN region. It is a joint venture between NSK Ltd. (Japan) and Siam Motors Co., Ltd., with a registered capital exceeding 650 million baht. The manufacturing facility spans over 64,000 square meters and is located in Amata City Industrial Estate, Chonburi.

Position : Technical Engineer

Job description:

• Serve as a technical representative to support customers, respond to technical inquiries, and coordinate the resolution of technical issues.
• Collect, analyze, and maintain technical and market information from customers, competitors, and internal sources to support product development and technical database management.
• Coordinate and exchange technical information with NSK Japan and other relevant NSK group companies.
• Prepare technical documents, product specifications, and technical presentations for internal and external use.
• Provide technical and product knowledge training to sales staff, internal employees, and customers as required.
• Support Localization and VA/VE activities by coordinating related information, following up on progress, and preparing reports for relevant departments and customers.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, quality, and other relevant departments to support new model development, testing, production, and process improvement.
• Monitor customer requirements, technical concerns, and satisfaction, and report progress, findings, and issues to supervisors.
• Coordinate and manage technical information and requirements related to products supplied by other NSK group factories.
• Continuously study and maintain up-to-date knowledge of existing and new products, technologies, applications, and technical standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• 0-2 years of experience in the automotive parts industry.
• Fresh graduates with the right skill set are also welcome.
• Knowledge and understanding of engineering principles, production processes, raw materials, and product-related regulations.
• Able to communicate effectively in English or have a valid TOEIC score.
• Strong coordination, negotiation, prioritization, and interpersonal skills.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Having a car and a valid driving license will be an advantage.
