Technical Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Technical Engineer with a strong background in Civil Engineering or Architecture to provide technical expertise and coordination throughout project execution. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing technical documents, coordinating with project stakeholders, resolving technical issues, and ensuring that all works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and interpret civil and architectural drawings, specifications, and other technical documents.
• Prepare, review, and coordinate shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and technical submissions.
• Coordinate with consultants, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and project teams on technical matters.
• Identify technical and design-related issues and provide effective solutions to support project progress.
• Ensure construction works comply with approved drawings, specifications, standards, and project requirements.
• Review design changes and assess their technical impact on project execution.
• Prepare and follow up on Requests for Information (RFIs) and technical clarifications.
• Coordinate between civil, architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines to identify and resolve technical conflicts.
• Review material specifications and ensure that proposed materials meet project and quality requirements.
• Provide technical support and guidance to site engineers and construction teams.
• Conduct site inspections to verify that works are carried out according to approved drawings and technical requirements.
• Assist in resolving construction-related technical issues in coordination with the relevant project stakeholders.
• Maintain proper records of drawings, technical documents, revisions, approvals, and correspondence.
• Prepare technical reports and provide updates on technical issues and project requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in construction projects.
• Proven experience in a Technical Engineer or similar technical role.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, specifications, and industry standards.
• Experience in reviewing and coordinating civil and architectural drawings.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and other relevant engineering software.
• Strong technical, analytical, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary project teams.
