Technical Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, technical documents, and project requirements.
• Provide technical support and solutions to project and site teams on engineering-related matters.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal departments to resolve technical issues.
• Review shop drawings, material submissions, method statements, and technical submissions.
• Assist in preparing and responding to Requests for Information (RFI) and other technical queries.
• Conduct site inspections and monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and applicable standards.
• Identify technical issues and recommend practical solutions to minimize delays and rework.
• Coordinate with the project team to ensure technical requirements are properly implemented throughout project execution.
• Assist in reviewing design changes, variations, and technical proposals where required.
• Maintain proper records of technical documents, reports, inspections, and project correspondence.
• Support testing, commissioning, and handover activities where applicable.
• Perform other technical and engineering duties assigned by the management.

Academic Qualification:

• Degree: A bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline (such as mechanical, electrical, civil, or software engineering) or computer science.

Skills & Experience:

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, computer-aided design (CAD), system diagnostics, and operating systems.
• Analytical Skills: Strong root-cause analysis, mathematical modeling, and complex problem-solving.
• Soft Skills: Clear verbal communication, time management, and cross-functional teamwork.
• Experience: 1 to 5 years of hands-on experience in a technical support, maintenance, or field-specific engineering role
